Signature dishes, such as our most popular, delicious World Famous German Pancake, and traditional breakfast items keep our loyal customers coming back. And, except for Christmas Eve, we don't close. Ever! Owner Rex Benson continues to carry on the same tradition of serving home style cooking that his father, late co-founder David Benson, started over 60 years ago. And Rex has started some of his own traditions, such as a Mega Pancake Challenge and offering a beautiful, fully equipped catering trailer for events. We serve families wanting to eat where their children are always welcome, hungry TCU students craving some home style cooking, tourists looking to grab a bite from a true local joint, and everyone in between!
